Girl Scout Troop 43 was on hand today selling cookies!  This unique Troop consists of 15 homeschooled girls and they meet at the Girl Scout Headquarters. Girl Scouts in the US helps girls build confidence and character. When asked what were their favorite activities they listed: A trip the Snake Farm, Volunteering at the Food Bank, the Food Drive at HEB where they helped pack 995 bags with 496 lbs of food.  They also took a night trip to the San Antonio Zoo. Cookie sales help support the local counsel, help earn trips to camp and help support STEM Workshops. The girls work on badges and learn about managing money. These girls are cookie experts! In the fall the girls sell nuts and candy. The girls reported that the #1 cookie sold is Thin Mints. Troop Leader Melissa Caplinger led the girls in the:
