Destiny Mujica confessed that she missed a lot of meetings while working on the Earn a Bike Christmas 2018 project. President Fred invited Destiny to share with us about the 2018 project.  She said that 500 students from 7 campuses were contacted - 300 registered and 200 students showed up to the event.  This was the biggest event to date. The program begins in September and the program runs for 8 weeks. The students learn about bicycle safety and maintenance. The program requires improved attendance and decreased negative behaviour. The schools involved benefit with improved performance metrics. She also shared that grants are necessary to support the program. Several grants were awarded due to Destiny's grant writing skills. Destiny shared that the current Executive Director, Christian is stepping down to focus on his for profit business and that she has been approved as the new Executive Director.
