Brenda Jackson celebrated her birthday last week. Their oldest grandson, Fin just turned 4 and he sang "Happy Birthday" to her in German. She shared that he loves to play with Legos.
Mary Denton and her husband Pat McGuyer volunteered to judge at the Kendall County Robotics Competition last Saturday. There were students from Austin, Boerne, San Antonio and other cities competing. It was certainly an eye opening experience to learn how students prepare and compete. Three judges were former members of the KCRC and were instrumental in assisting the volunteer judges in the finer points of qualification. Mary was delighted to find that there is a STEM program at Harlandale High School where she graduated. Mary and Pat hope to volunteer again next year!
