Spotlight is on John Legris' comments about wine! Today it was Maricool Muscadet - from France - according to John, "very good with shellfish or a light salad." Puerta Plata (translation: silver gate) Reportedly all grapes used for this wine are from the Catalunya region of Spain and are a blend of 60% Tempranillo and 40% Garnacha. This particular one was a 2017 prize winner in Berlin.
Ken Donoughue won the opportunity to draw the 2 of clubs for the $650 pot. Unfortunately he drew the 5 of spades. However since "there are no losers at Oak Hills Rotary Club" he took home the Puerta Plata. Andrej Canonizado, Angie's brother, owned the second ticket drawn. He took home the Maricool Muscadet.

Thank you Ken Ruiz for donating the wine this week!
