Ken Ruiz owns the umbrella for January and February.  Ken was grateful to family and friends who shared the time with him last meeting for his induction into the Club. This was a meaningful time for him to return to the original Club where his Rotary life began. He gave our guest today, Matt Sheehan, an "End Polio Now" tile. He explained the focus and effort that Rotary Internal has to end polio worldwide.

Remembering Ted Harwood
Ken reminisced about Rotarian and friend Ted Harwood. Ted and his business partner Dan Hill were Veterinarians. Ken was 24 years old when he joined Oak Hills Rotary. Ted made fun of Ken's New York accent and Ken took his kidding in stride. Ken shared the good time he and his kid brother had when Ted's business partner took them fishing. Someone shared, "Ted was an Aggie". Bil Trodlier shared, "Ted was a good guy." Fred shared that "Ted was soft spoken." Joe said, "Ted was a rancher." Ted is leaving a legacy in the history of our Club - so many friendships - and will long be remembered.  We are forever grateful.
