President John Legris welcomed club members, visitors and guests to "The Friendliest Club in District 5840."  Lynda Wood from Coronado Binacional Rotary Club was our guest speaker.  Also joining us were Efrian Fruto, Eduardo Aguirre and Enrique Cardenas from the Nuevo Rosita Rotary Club.  We were excited to have them attend and share with us information about the Nuevo Rosita joint water project with our club.
 
Kenneth Black, regular attendee and member nominee for our club was also in attendance.

Club Luncheon and Business Program
President Elect Rick Rhodes introduced our guest speaker Lynda Wood, past president Coronado Binacional. She grew up in Nuevo Rosita where life giving fresh water is scarce and shared why this project is close to her heart. President Elect Rick shared details about our club contribution to the Middle School and Elementary School water project.  Lynda shared a slide presentation explaining the project. Announcements
We will be returning to Outback Steakhouse for in person meetings March 31.  The meeting will also be live streamed for those who wish to social distance.
 
New Member Candidate
Membership Chair Kenneth Ruiz is setting up fireside chat for Kenneth Black and induction ceremony.
 
District Mini Library Initiative
Vice President Destiny Mujica gave us a progress report regarding the two mini libraries that our club has committed to build – one location has been confirmed.  A second location is in the process – working with the City San Antonio. The mini library project is the initiative by our District Governor Xavier Toson.
 
Confessions and Brags
Ken Donoughue served as our virtual Sergeant at Arms. 
 
New Member Candidate Ken Black confessed that he will have a birthday on Tuesday!
