Oak Hills Rotary Bulletin
President John Legris opened the meeting by observing Veteran’s Day. He recognized our special guest speaker District 5840 Foundation Chair Jerry Hardy. He also recognized members who served in the military.
 
Prayer and pledge was led by Immediate Past President Rick Tarbell.

This month book donation is courtesy of Rick Rhodes. It is our tradition to donate a book to the Locke Hill Elementary School Library in honor of our guest speaker.
 
Secretary Mary Denton introduced our guest speaker District 5840 Foundation Chair Jerry Hardy.  He pointed out that our club has a history of giving to the Foundation.

Club Business
Board meeting Thursday Nov 19th on zoom at 11:00.  Board members have until Friday to submit items for discussion. Please send to President John.
Items for discussion on the agenda:
Will finalize foundation budget for the year.
Destiny Mujica and Allyson Hamlin will present our plans for mini library initiative, an initiative by District Governor Xavier Toson, at the board meeting. We are considering building possibly 2.
Rick Rhodes will submit Nueva Rosita water project
Recommendations for Officers and Board members for 2021-2022
Holiday celebration?
When we might be able to attend in person with a hybrid meeting – in person and virtually through zoom and facebook.
Board meetings are open to all members.
Expect the meeting to last 1 ½ hours.
