President John Legris led the meeting with the prayer & pledges. President Legris welcomed visiting Rotarian, District 5840 Assistant Governor Tom Hutton, visitor Kenneth Black and our guest speaker, Air Traffic Controller Ken Monteiro to "The Friendliest Club is District 5840!"

Officer Nominations
President John announced that we will be closing nominations for officers for 2021-2022 year by the end of the club meeting today.  We want to be ready for voting at our next meeting, Jan 6.

Holiday Party
Our annual Holiday Party will be tomorrow evening at 7:30 pm on zoom!  Ken Ruiz will be the MC. Ken announced that we will have special music and a guest singer. Announcement!
Transfer of first $6000 to the Rotary Club of Nueva Rosita for the joint water filtration project with the Coronado Rotary Club. Middle School will be first recipient.
 
Survey
Vice President Destiny Mujica has circulated a survey asking members about being comfortable meeting in person. Destiny Mujica re-sent the survey.

Destiny Mujica, chair of the speaker committee announced: For the month of January the speakers will be virtual.
 
Confessions & Brags
Bil Trodler’s son in law Cody has been matched for fellowship at the Childrens Hospital in Houston.
Mary Denton and husband Pat McGuyer both had successful cataract surgery.
Destiny Mujica will be celebrating Joslyn’s first birthday soon!
Roger Thompson had knee replacement surgery and is doing well.
