Vice President John Legris was once again in top form as he introduced this week's wines: From Sister Creek in Sisterdale a Muscat white wine. John said, "my wife and I love it!"  The red today was Temranillo from Spain. Made with black grapes, it is full bodied and red grapes that ripen early. It is aged at least 1 year in oak barrels. This one aged for 3 years. "Goes well with roast and lamb and other grilled meats," says John. Future Rotarian Glenda Spears was the first ticket drawn and had the chance to win the $850 pot. Instead of drawing the 2 of clubs to win, she drew the 7 of diamonds!  As a consolation prize, she chose the red wine.  Roger Thompson owned the second ticket and took home the white.
Ken Donoughue donated the wine for September.  Thanks Ken!
